Frog Play

We are using Frog Play as a platform for children to submit their work, often by multiple choice quiz. This is easier to manage at home as opposed to worksheets as not everyone has a printer at home. 

 

In English we are currently listening to The Railway Children:

The audio book we are using can be found free of charge on the https://www.researchify.co.uk/audiobooks.html website.

Today you are going to listen to two poems by Grace Nichols. Your challenge is to write your own rap in the style of Grace Nichols.You might like to write an animal rap eg Dog Rap or Guinea Pig Rap. If you have a pet, you could write it about them. You might choose to write a rap about a season eg Old Man Autumn or Lady Summer. But feel free to choose any subject you want for your rap. Last week's writing task uses the Authorfy website. To be able to access the resources you will need to register with the site by clicking "join" and creating an account. Membership of Authorfy is free and the resources on this site are brilliant! 

Your writing task was set by an author called Gabrielle Kent. She is asked you to write a story about what happens when an everyday object malfunctions.
