Well being

13.07.2020

It's a busy clip this week https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FDyiUEn8Vw

When you have watched this - think about pausing the video and remembering how many words are said. It is all about learning how to recognise our emotions and think about the way we can get ready to come back to school. Look at the end of the page for your worksheets and think about a superhero you would like to be. Draw, write, paint and enjoy!

06.07.2020

This week we are thinking about happiness. Watch the clip and think about what emotions mean to you. How can you understand you brain to help with happiness? There is a power-point at the bottom of the page. Complete the tasks and why not collect jokes from the whole family? Make them into a book and send the best ones into school so that we can make everyone smile. https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/class-clips-video/pshe-ks2-the-brain-house/zd7kd6f

29.06.2020

We had a think last week about being good to ourselves. This week we are looking at that is o.k. to not be o.k all the time. We can worry about things -some everyone agrees with but some are personal to you. If we 'put our worries in place', we can find a way of helping ourselves. There is a worksheet in the well-being section at the bottom of the page. Think about how you can be positive about your worries. Try to relax with this breathing technique.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O29e4rRMrV4

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

22.06.2020

Have a look at the power point at the bottom of the page - look for the 'Well-being' block. In being kind to others, you must first be kind to yourself. Can you follow these tips and make a calendar of what you will do each day? It is all about the science of being happy!
