In the early hours of Thursday 20th August Mr Freddy Meadows, our school caretaker, unexpectedly passed away. This is tragic news and the thoughts of all staff are with his family at this most difficult time.
Freddy cared about Gilmour immensely and would always give his time to drive the minibus to cross country, football and other events.
His love kind approach, warm smile, sense of humour and love of Everton Football Club will be missed by all.
Fred's funeral has been arranged for Tuesday 1st September. School will be closed on that day so that staff can pay their respects to a much loved colleague. The staff training day planned for the 1st September will be rearranged. These arrangements do not affect the return to school of Year 3 children on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th September nor the return of all children on Monday 7th September.
