Dear Parents,
You may be aware from media coverage that the NEU Teaching Union have declared strike action, which will take place on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th of March 2023. The strike is happening because of a national dispute between the unions and the government and not because of any issues at our school.
On Wednesday:
3P and 4M will be open and children should attend as usual.
On Thursday:
3P will be closed and 4M will be open.
Children in 4M should attend as usual.
Children in 3P should not attend.
All other classes are closed on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th of March 2023 and children must not come to school.
After school clubs on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th of March 2023 have been cancelled.
We are working closely with union representatives to keep up to date with changes in the situation and I will inform you as soon as possible if arrangements change further.
