City in One-Point Perspective

Can draw vertical, horizontal and horizon (where the sea and land meet) lines with accuracy using guide dots to create perspective.

Can draw lines in the correct placement (lower closer/higher farther away) and size (larger closer/ smaller farther away) to appear farther away or closer.

Can add texture and tone to an object through the use of different pencils and mark making.

Field sketching

Can draw lines and shapes from observation with accuracy.

Can begin to add texture to an object through the use of different pencils and mark making.

Can create perspective drawing using the skills learnt in previous lessons.

Final Piece

Can draw a perspective drawing of a street applying the skills learnt from this topic: accurately drawn lines and shapes, showing an awareness of vanishing points, foreshortening using texture and tone to add detail.
