Why are the children eating off disposable plates etc.?
We did:
Unfortunately our sterilizer broke down after many long years of service and was deemed irreparable. The disposable plates etc. were a short term solution. One of our year three children pointed out, in a letter to me, that this isn't ideal as polystyrene isn't recyclable and I agree.
We have now found a solution and hopefully the children will be able to use the usual crockery and cutlery again.
